We have in place a "CLOTHING CLOSET MINISTRY". We have set aside space for people to give clothing for the needy. We are asking all churches, businesses and individuals who do not have a clothing ministry to please support ours by bringing your clothing and/or shoe donations to the New Faith Community Bible Church anytime Tuesday –Thursday from 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM. We are also looking for volunteers to help organize the clothing for distribution purposes. We plan to distribute clothing on a continuous basis.
We have an Out Reach Ministry "SICK AND SHUT-IN" where we have service with the sick and shut-in. If you would like for us to come and fellowship with you or your loved one, please contact us so we can set up a time and date to fellowship with you or your loved one. In these services we sing, read scriptures, pray and serve Holy Communion if so desired..
We have a program we call "THE TENTH INITIATIVE" this is where we take a tenth of what we take in through tithes, offerings and donations monthly and sow it back into our communities through individuals, organizations and/or community activities. God has called all of us to be sowers; therefore, let us sow seeds to reap the harvest.
We will begin our "TREAD MARKS" Spring 2008. This is where we will walk (tread) the streets in our communities to witness to the unsaved and unchurched. We plan to leave our mark on the neighborhoods that are redlined in our communities by bringing change.
Future Outreach:
We are currently developing "STAMP" which is an acronym for (Students Targeted And Mentoring Program) with this program we plan to work with the local school system with misguided students. We want to bring in various community officials for lectures and have after school mentoring programs to keep our children encouraged and on the path to success.
We are currently developing "BOOST" which is an acronym for (Binding Organizations, Officials, Students & Teachers) with this program we are bringing all community role models together to boost our children's options and opportunities to succeed. In the first phase we will recruit local organizations to sponsor monthly activities for those classes that have been exemplary in studies and behavior.
We will also have the "RECOVERY ROOM" this will be an outreach ministry that will help those coming out of the prison system reenter society by nurturing the inner man. This ministry will also break the yokes of those in our community that are bound by alcoholism, drug abuse and sexual sins. This ministry will serve as a home, where we will house and feed both the body and the spirit.
AS WE GROW SO SHALL OUR OUTREACH MINISTRIES
